STATE SERVICE PROJECT

Bring a Book, Take a Book
School: Tutt Middle School
Description:
Our Student Council is building Little Free Library homes to place in our school community that will offer free books to anyone who is interested. We encourage people to contribute books to the Little Free Library and enjoy reading books shared by others. Each will be registered as an official Little Free Library by the Little Free Library effort at littlefreelibrary.org. Please view their website for more background information on this project. The wood, post, paint and other supplies have mostly been donated through local supporters and our Student Council members with woodworking experience are spearheading the project. We plan to erect our first Little Free Library on the campus of our school this month. In addition, we are sharing Literacy Facts each day during the morning announcements and collecting books to donate to the Boys and Girls Club.
