GASC State Service Ambassador Applications Are Now Open!

We are excited to announce that the application period for the GASC State Service Ambassador position is now open! This unique opportunity allows a dedicated student leader from your school to oversee and promote our 2025-2026 State Service Project: Work2BeWell’s Roadmap to Wellness.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a high school student attending a GASC-member school.
- Must have prior leadership experience (e.g., Student Council, Honor Societies, Peer Leadership, etc.).
- Must be organized, reliable, and passionate about student service initiatives.
- Must be comfortable with public speaking and facilitating virtual meetings.
- Must be able to commit to the position for the full year.
- Communicate state service project details, including deadlines and monthly activities.
- Facilitate quarterly Zoom meetings with school service representatives.
- Provide updates and reminders to participating schools.
- Encourage collaboration and engagement among student councils.
- Report progress to the GASC Executive Board.
- Attend all GASC Executive Board meetings (July 25-27, September TBD, January 10, February 18)
- Application Deadline: March 31, 2025
- Zoom Interview Sign-ups will be sent out to finalists by April 15, 2025

Who We Are
The Georgia Association of Student Councils (GASC) is an organization dedicated to the development of student leaders and student councils throughout the state of Georgia. We strive to provide opportunities where councils can receive training and network with one another to foster creative ideas for service to the school and community, building school spirit, planning successful events, fundraising, and developing their local leaders. We provide support to advisors, student leaders, and councils through our annual State Convention, Leadership Summit, District Conference, and monthly newsletters.
