ABOUT

The Georgia Association of Student Councils (GASC) is an organization dedicated to the development of student councils throughout Georgia.  GASC  provides opportunities for advisors and students to receive training while networking with one another, fostering  ideas to serve schools and communities. Through GASC's annual events, councils learn and grow together  by sharing these opportunities, fulfilling GASC's mission.

SERVING YOU THROUGH OUR PILLARS OF LEADERSHIP

I. Leadership Development

Strengthen school and individual leadership
practices through the design and
delivery of high quality training
programs and learning experiences. 

III. Membership Engagement

Expand and sustain ​current membership.

V. Democratic Principles

Uphold and promote the democratic ideals of GASC.

II. Service

Build stronger communities through the encouragement of student council
participation in local, state,
​national, and/or global service projects.

IV. Networking

Collaborate and build beneficial relationships with members and organizations who share GASC values.

VI. Advisor Development

Recruit, support, and retain strong student council advisors.

National Councils of Excellence!

Congratulations to Meadowcreek High School and The Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology for being recognized as a gold level council of excellence by the National Student Council. Both schools meet a list of criteria to qualify for this prestigious national award.
