In the mid-80s, Shirley Quenzer became involved in GASC and over the next 30+ years she would serve as advisor to students serving in every officer position; Senior Counselor, Dean of Women, Assistant Director, Director for the BLAST Summer camp, and the GASC Executive Director from 2005-2009.
In 2007, the GASC Executive Board voted to create the Quenzer Loving Cup Award to honor Shirley’s constant dedication to the service of others. The award is to be given to a school or individual who has shown extra care to GASC with his/her time, talent and work beyond expectations. |
